Graduate Exhibition Showcase 2008
Brainwaves are sparking...
as graduate students are shaping and creating a tantalising window into the future of interactive technology. Queensland University of Technology’s communication design and animation graduates are gearing up for PLAY ON ‘08. Held from November 12 – 13 at The Block, in the Creative Industries Precinct, Kelvin Grove, this graduate exhibition will be a hive of integrated technology.
PLAY ON, as the name suggests, boasts a showcase of various fun and playful installations that challenge and re-imagine how we interact with computer technology. Some projects use your shadow to cause an effect; others use bubbles to make music, but all burst with creative thinking and execution. Also on display are individual student’s vast capabilities of animation, graphic design, web design, virtual environments, creative advertising and other specialised creative talents. Audiences of PLAY ON ‘08 are offered a gateway to enticing new experiences with a collection of interactive and playful installations.
